Seeing as there’s been plenty of conversations about some of Gene Smith’s comments from his press conference a couple of weeks ago, here’s this week’s question: If you became Ohio State’s athletic director right now, what’s the first thing you’d change?

While it’s unlikely the actual athletic director would make any major decisions without consulting with others throughout the athletic department and university, you can assume that you have the unilateral authority to make any change you want for the purposes of this exercise. Hiring or firing a coach, building a new stadium or facility, adding a new sport, lowering ticket prices – anything you can think of is on the table.
