Ohio State’s women’s hockey team will play for a conference championship on Sunday.
After beating Wisconsin 2-1 in a semifinal game on Saturday, the Buckeyes will face Minnesota in the WCHA Final Faceoff championship game at 2 p.m. Sunday on Minnesota’s home ice.

Ohio State is currently the No. 2 team in the country with a 27-6 record for the season, having already set a program record for the most wins in a season. Minnesota is the No. 1 team in the country with a 29-7-1 record this year, but the Buckeyes went 3-1 against the Gophers – with their only loss coming in overtime – during the regular season.
