Current Buckeye junior Hunter Armstrong just set a new world record in the 50 back while qualifying for Team USA at the swimming World Championship Trials.
Hunter is a gold medal winner with Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics, and has a bright future ahead of him. Of course, now he's put the world on notice that he is the one to beat in short-distance backstroke.
Congratulations, Hunter! Go Bucks! U-S-A!
