The Buckeyes, in a shocking decision, made the 2022 NCAA DI Men's Lacrosse tournament for just the 7th time in school history, 4th during the tenure of Nick Myers. That's the most all-time for any Ohio State coach, breaking a tie with former Buckeye coach Joe Breschi.

This is an absolutely stunning development because both Notre Dame AND Duke were left out of this year's field. In fact, only one ACC team made the tournament at all, and that was Virginia, current reigning champions.

Ohio State will face Cornell in the opening round next Saturday, time and place TBA. This is a momentous occasion for Ohio State, and an opportunity for revenge on an opponent that beat the Buckeyes a couple months ago.
