Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Last season, under first year head coach Bill Mosiello, the BaseBucks struggled through most of the year, but finished the year on a 9 game winning streak including a three game sweep of rival TTUN to finish the year 31-25 (9-15 B1G). This year seeks to be an improvement from last. Ideally, a run in the Big Ten tournament will mark a successful season. Missing the BTT will be a failure, but making the NCAA tournament or even the College World Series, while obviously the goal every season, may be just a little out of reach for now.

Games of the week
Starting the season, the Buckeyes are headed to the desert! Ohio State will be heading down to the Greater Phoenix area in Arizona, where they will play a round-robin style tournament with BYU, USC, and Boston College in the MLB Desert Invitational.
On Friday, February 16th, the Buckeyes will play Boston College who went 37-20 last year, losing in the pool round of the ACC tournament and being eliminated in the Tuscaloosa NCAA regional. This game will be at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale and will air on MLB Network at 3 PM ET.
On Saturday, February 17th, the Bucks will play BYU who went 24-28 in 2023 with no postseason play. This game, as well as Sunday's game, will be at Sloan Park in Mesa and will air on MLB.tv at 7 PM ET.
On Sunday, February 18th, Ohio State will play USC who finished 34-23-1 in 2023, losing in the pool round of the Pac 12 tournament, and missing out on the NCAA tournament appearance.
Overall, great set of opponents to provide a test right off the bat (no pun intended). Let's get the season started off right by winning this Invitational! Go Bucks!
