Devin Royal has cut his top schools list from nine to three.
The Buckeyes remain in the mix for the top-75 2023 prospect, though, as the Pickerington Central forward and Ohio native is down to just Ohio State, Michigan State and Alabama.

Royal is the second-rated player in Ohio and the No. 14 small forward in his class, and has long been a top target for Chris Holtmann and the Buckeye coaching staff.
Ohio State has two commits in its 2023 class already, with four-star prospects George Washington III and Austin Parks. Another one of the Buckeyes' top targets, top-50 small forward Scotty Middleton, is set to make a commitment decision next weekend.
