One of the top prospects in the 2024 class included Ohio State among his top eight schools on Monday.
Jason Asemota, the No. 12-rated recruit in the country, put the Buckeyes on the list along with Baylor, Arizona State, LSU, Memphis, Stanford, Kansas and Oregon.

A Phoenix native who plays at Hillcrest Prep, Asemota is listed at 6-foot-8, 190 pounds. Asemota is the fifth-ranked small forward in the nation and the No. 2 player in his home state.
The Buckeyes have yet to land a commitment in the 2024 class.
