Me choosing Xavier had a lot to do with fit and I wanted to be a part of what Sean Miller is building.

Swain was a longtime priority target for Ohio State and an AAU teammate of Buckeye commits George Washington III and Devin Royal through the spring and summer. However, when the Buckeyes received commitments from Royal and top-50 prospect Scotty Middleton in the same week last month, the likelihood of Swain joining the fold seemed to decrease.
Ohio State has four commits in its 2023 class, which ranks fifth in the nation as of now.
