A recent addition to Division I will be part of Ohio State's nonconference schedule in 2024-25, per the Bracketeer's Rocco Miller.
The Buckeyes' men's basketball team will play Mercyhurst in either November or December.

The Lakers, based out of Erie, Pennsylvania moved up to the top division of college basketball this year, joining the Northeast Conference.
Mercyhurst went a mere 15-16 in 2023-24 but won at least 25 games in three of the previous five seasons. Head coach Gary Manchel is in his 22nd season with the Lakers.
