Ohio State is in the mix for another top offensive lineman out of the transfer portal.

One day after playing in the FCS national championship, former Montana State left tackle Conner Moore entered the transfer portal on Tuesday, quickly drawing significant Power Four interest.

Moore just completed his sophomore season and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He’s been a two-year starter for the Bobcats, starting all 12 games at left tackle his freshman season, while starting three games at left guard and the other 13 games at left tackle for Montana State in 2024.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Moore visited Cincinnati on Wednesday and is also expected to visit Michigan State and Ohio State, via multiple national reports. The OSU visit will likely be this weekend after the Cotton Bowl, as the dead period arrives on Monday.

A commitment from Moore would be a homecoming of sorts, as Moore grew up in Millbury, Ohio.

Per Pro Football Focus' grades, Moore played 904 offensive snaps for Montana State this season, including 356 pass-blocking snaps. He recorded an overall grade of 76.7, which is considered above average. He was graded 77.1 overall as a run blocker and 69.7 as a pass blocker.

If OSU can land Moore, he’d immediately be a contender to start at either tackle position, competing with fellow transfer additions Phillip Daniels and Ethan Onianwa. He also theoretically could start at guard if need be. If nothing else, he’d be a significant add from a depth perspective if he doesn’t begin the year as an outright starter.

Also of note, OSU is expected to host former Georgia defensive end Damon Wilson on a visit sometime this weekend, and we like the way that recruitment is trending.

Buckeyes offer five more prospects

Though most of the Ohio State football staff has put their full focus on beating Texas this week, the Buckeyes are also making the most of their opportunities to go on the road recruiting. Since we last posted a Hurry-Up on Tuesday, OSU has offered five more prospects, bringing the total for this week up to 21.

Three-star 2026 defensive end Elijah Littlejohn is the closest player to college of the three prospects offered, as the 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect picked up his Buckeyes offer on Wednesday. Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Littlejohn is considered the No. 366 prospect and No. 28 edge player in the 2026 cycle.

Littlejohn has picked up 17 Division I offers, with other offers including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. This season, Littlejohn recorded 84 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 24 quarterback hurries and two pass deflections.

OSU offered 2027 safety Davion Jones on Wednesday, giving him eight Division I offers in total. Other schools that have offered him include Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, NC State, Texas A&M, Troy and Virginia Tech.

In his sophomore season, Jones recorded 68 tackles, two tackles for loss, seven interceptions, 15 pass deflections and a blocked punt.

Samari Howard is a new name in most recruiting circles, but the talented 2027 defensive back from Florida picked up offers from Florida State and Ohio State within the same day.

Howard had a breakout sophomore season and recorded six interceptions, three defensive touchdowns and two pass breakups.

Cory Cunningham is another prospect just making his way onto the recruiting scene, as the 2028 North Carolina defensive lineman picked up an OSU offer on Wednesday.

The offer was the 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect’s third Division I offer, with East Carolina and South Carolina being the other two.

Finally, the Buckeyes offered North Carolina defensive lineman Nate Kamba on Wednesday. OSU was the 6-foot-3, 270-pound Kamba's second Division I offer, along with Kentucky.

Last season, Kamba recorded 79 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, eight sacks and 32 quarterback hurries.

Jabari Mack puts OSU in his top 10

One of the top wideouts in the 2026 class has narrowed down his recruitment. Four-star Louisiana prospect Jabari Mack released a top 10 on Tuesday consisting of Ohio State, Oregon, Florida State, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan, LSU, Nebraska and Tennessee.

Mack is ranked as the No. 59 overall prospect and No. 10 wideout in the 2026 cycle.

Carson Beck set to transfer

Instead of heading to the NFL Draft, former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is heading to the transfer portal instead.

Beck entered the portal on Thursday, with national reports connecting him heavily to Miami. Per On3's Pete Nakos, Ohio State and Texas Tech are also in the running for Beck.

Contrary to that report, we can go ahead and say we feel confident Beck will be playing elsewhere (likely Miami), rather than Ohio State, next season.
