Tom Brady Might Have the Most Remarkable Postseason Record in NFL History, but He Still Only Went 1-1 vs the Buckeyes

I can’t deny the incredible run Brady and the Patriots have had in the past 18 years.  Brady is now 29-10 in the postseason.  If they win the Super Bowl, that means Brady will have won 75% of his postseason games.

But the fact is Brady was only .500 in the two games he started against Ohio State.  And one of those games—in 1999—was in Ann Arbor against one of the worst Ohio State teams record-wise of the past 50 years.  That Buckeye team finished 6-6 and didn’t even go to a bowl game.

The ‘99 Buckeyes lost to Brady’s Michigan team by only 24-17.

In ‘98, Ohio State decisively won by 31-16; and, despite setting Michigan records for pass attempts and completions, Brady managed to throw only one TD pass.

(Mod Edit: moved to Other Sports Forum because, well...it's about Tom Brady <ugh>.)
