I made a thread after the Notre Dame game saying he was neither a great player or leader, Stroud is a system QB with great arm talent and that’s it. That’s exactly what was proven yet again today. He’s essentially a taller more talented Jay Cutler. If you disagree I would love to hear the rebuttal. If all you can do is list off a bunch of empty yardage and big statistical games vs terrible teams then it doesn’t count and it means nothing. The B1G just in general has been pretty bad both years he’s been here. His “I wasn’t recruited to play RB” comment after the Nebraska game last year is a great example. Point blank, when the moment is the biggest, he does nothing to elevate the players around him and he’s not a good leader.. he just isn’t.
