I know there is the phrase "may the best man win", but I just want Howard to start and be our QB that will lead us to beating scUM and winning the NC. 

I've watched his games on YT and he has shown that he can start and lead a major D1 team. For me, it doesn't matter if he's not looking amazing in practice or he can't hit the deep ball consistently. However, what I do know is that he can beat a team with better talent- Texas, and TCU. Though he lost to Texas, he still showed that he can ball. 

We've had a lot of "practice" players, but when the bright lights come on, they just don't perform. Howard does. 

So yeah it's probably not the right thing to say, but I'm saying what the majority of us want and thinking anyway.
