Firs off, I'm very glad to hear that the appeal for Arvell Reese succeeded. That was a terrible call, but so is the general rule for targeting which almost any hit could be interpreted as targeting if you are leading with any part of your body (head, arms shoulders - how is it possible to not lead with one of those?) .
What seemed more egregious to me and I would have been kicking my tv in if it went against the Buckeyes, was the 1st down denied to Nebraska at the end of the first half. The Nebraska player clearly was a yard and a half over the mark and in the age of replay review, how in the planet was that not reversed? Did I miss something and the actual first down yellow line was wrong?
