Moving Donovan Jackson to left guard is a bad idea, it screws up two positions. What happened the last time we did the offensive line shuffle? I am thinking misery via Missouri.
Go ahead and start the downvotes, but why not just start an extra offensive lineman? Let’s find out if two halves can make a whole. If the downside is that we lose one potential receiver in Gee Scott, I am fine with that, the ball should be going to Egbuka, Tate and Smith more anyhow. Plus, if Howard actually has time, the four receiver options that are still out there are that much harder to cover. This would almost have to help the running game as well.
It would be nice to see this staff be a little proactive rather than constantly being reactionary a week late. I am talking about you “maybe we should pressure the QB” a week after Oregon.
