Since Urban Meyer and the 2014 squad hoisted that trophy, where do you rank last nights win of all the post-season wins.
Not including regular season wins because every win against those assholes up north would be top of the list.
But last night felt good. It was the dominance. The morale booster. The first post season win at The Shoe in history. Sending these seniors out with 1 last win at home. Those boys deserved that victory.
Despite all that I put this one #2 on the list. The 2020 victory over Clemson is just above this one. The revenge win over Dabo for the 2019 loss felt so good. Another dominating win and that one was a little more unexpected than last night. Great win during a challenge year for many reasons.
So I would go
1. 2021 Sugar Bowl vs Clemson
2. 2024 home win vs Tennessee
3. 2022 Rose Bowl vs Utah: back and forth game with the emergence of JSN. Maybe some recency bias but winning the Rose Bowl always feels just a bit more important.
4. 2016 Cotton Bowl vs ND: travesty that this squad didn't get a chance to defend their title, but stomping the domers was a nice consolation prize as they are one of the most annoying fan bases not from tsun
5. 2019 Rose Bowl vs Washington
6. 2017 Cotton Bowl vs USC
Feels like there should be more than 6 bowl/post season wins in the last 10 years but here we are.
The best part of last nights win is the chance to add more wins to this list. Go Bucks!
