As I reported in yesterday's notebook, Mookie Cooper said on his Instagram Live that he will be committing next week. He confirmed that today at The Opening Finals.
He's making the video this weekend and will make the announcement next week.
He's already eliminated USC from his recruitment process and now has Miami, Ohio State, Illinois and Texas. He was in Columbus recently and wore gear for all of the teams except Miami at The Opening Finals this weekend (he hasn't been to Miami yet).
He has already decommitted from Texas.
Several Ohio State commits have been talking to him about coming to Ohio State.
