Ohio State is losing a member of its recruiting staff to LSU.

Morgan Phillips, who joined the Buckeyes as their director of recruiting and special events last August, is joining LSU in a senior recruiting role, according to On3’s Shea Dixon.

Phillips was previously a recruiting operations coordinator at LSU before she joined Ohio State’s staff last offseason. Ohio State hired her to replace former Ohio State staffer Erin Dunston, who left the Buckeyes for Michigan last offseason.

According to Ohio State’s official website, Phillips was responsible for overseeing all on-campus recruiting activities including official and unofficial visits and other recruiting events.
