With the transfer portal winding down, won’t be long till Diebler and staff turn their focus towards high school recruiting. The importance of high school recruiting has certainly lessened with the portal available, but everything indicates that Diebler still plans to pursue recruits, just possibly being a bit more picky as to who they go after, and taking smaller overall classes.
Believe it or not, OSU’s 2026 class is actually the #1 rated class in the country right now! We all know that won’t last but it’s fun while it lasts. Two current commits in the class, Diebler and staff seem to be looking for at least 1 more guy, if not 2 more. The 2027 class is empty, but that’s neither surprising or disappointing- Iowa St. is actually the only team listed on 247 with a 2027 class commitment.
Going to start a running list of the commitments and known targets. Can’t say I have a big list of names, so fill me in and I’ll update it. Using 247 sports composite for rankings, I’ve always felt that the composite averaging several sources gives the best ranking.
