After not having the LLWS last year due to the pandemic the format was changed this year due to the constraints of international exclusion. Instead of one team from each American region playing in an American bracket for the chance to compete against the winner of the International bracket, two American teams from each region were selected to compete in two American brackets.
early this afternoon the team from Hamilton (OH) managed to hold off a final inning surge from the same South Dakota team that claims Gavin Weir amongst its roster. Michigan followed that with a 2-1 nail biter against Hawaii to solidify the LLWS final rematch Sunday at 3pm on ESPN.
