I saw this SI article ("Notre Dame Still Hasn't Won a Major Bowl Game Since Before the BCS Era") and it made me wonder what Notre Dame is selling to stay competitive in recruiting. Is it academics, tradition? It certainly isn't modern football success.
I knew the Buckeyes have beaten them four times since the mid-90s (two regular season games and two Fiesta bowls), but had no idea their last major bowl win was 1994. They are 0-8 in New Year's 6/BCS bowl games and 0-10 in whatever SI is counting as "major" bowls.
