After learning that the Browns aggressively pursued Deshawn Watson, Baker Mayfield has requested a trade from the Browns. However, despite Mayfield receiving "strong interest" from the Colts, the Browns have thus far informed their QB1 that they will "not be accommodating his request".
Baker Mayfield just told ESPN: Its in the mutual interest of both sides for us to move on. The relationship is too far fine to mend. Its in the best interests of both sides to move on.

This timing of Baker Mayfield's trade request from the Browns couldn't be more awkward, as it came on the same day that Deshawn Watson, the legal-embattled QB that they were pursing who is facing 22 separate lawsuits alleging sexual assault, informed the Browns that they would not be his destination, as he will not waive his no-trade clause for them.
Browns notified theyre out of the running on Deshaun Watson, per team official.
