The Final Four and March Madness just wrapped up, the Masters is going on, and Baseball is celebrating Opening Day across the country this week. The Spring game is next weekend. Life is pretty good....for now. Unfortunately the upcoming months as a sports fan don't seem to sparkle as brightly. So for me when it comes to favorite and least favorite times of the year as a sports fan:

The worst: mid-April through May. The luster of Opening Day has worn off and baseball weather is generally crummy and cold. It's the dark days of college sports as basketball has wrapped up and football is a long ways away.

The best: October. College football is in full swing. The NFL is rolling. Baseball playoffs are taking place. The NHL is opening the season. College basketball is right around the corner.
