So I've been watching the USFL for 2 weeks now. I have to admit I actually like the product and have found it pretty interesting. I'm not an NFL fan at all, but obviously I follow college football very closely. I think the USFL fills a nice niche for me but I can't grasp how the league will grow with the all games in Alabama model.
Obviously there are no fans in the stands so it has a decidedly "covid era" feel to the games. The PLL (Lacrosse) does all games in one city but rotates the cities each week. It's actually a good model for lacrosse. Maybe one of you can explain the $ behind the USFL logic.
Are they planning on actually moving the home games? I did a quick google but didn't see anything obvious.
Based on the very few USFL related forum topics I think I may be the only one watching...
