Nate and Alex here. When we are not fetching coffee, making copies, cleaning the toilets, or feeding D.J.'s cats, we work on a variety of different projects for Eleven Warriors.
As your 2016 11W Summer Marketing Interns we will be providing updates on our projects for the community on a weekly basis each Sunday throughout the summer. Our work will focus largely on product improvement, customer engagement and personal growth. Comments, questions and some damn respect for once are appreciated.
(we know it is late for this week already, so not a good start. We will begin our normal broadcasting schedule next week on Sunday)
Our first project was to take a look at the 11W Dry Goods store. We wanted to see how the company can elevate awareness of its current offering while also developing new products members would be interested in purchasing. We are also trying to get creative and come up with new shirt designs that we think will be (emoji:fire).
When it comes to dry goods there was a fine line to walk. We didn’t want to tread on the toes of The University’s trademarks (or even near their toes) and sour a good relationship, but we also wanted to put out bangers that people will love. This is something we took very seriously. This balance kept us on our own toes throughout the process of evaluating the store - which, by the way, is currently in the throes of a redesign being led by Jason. - this is our first inside scoop for you!
We have come up with some things we think will help evolve the brand outside of designs. We hope these strategies will elevate the 11W as a whole. In the future we will do some things to engage social media users while also making 11W a larger player in the merchandise category.
