There are two natural avenues for college wrestlers to keep using their skills once they're done with college: professional wrestling or Mixed Martial Arts. Former Ohio State wrestler Lance "The Party" Palmer chose MMA, and tonight he's going to represent Buckeye colors on national TV.
Palmer, who was a four-time All-American wrestler at Ohio State from 2007 to 2010, is a competitor in tonight's World Series of Fighting 16 event. Palmer takes a pretty solid 8-1 win-loss record up against fellow 145-pounder Rick Glenn in a featherweight championship contest, and he'll be wearing scarlet and gray in the process.
