The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis in a shocking blockbuster trade that also involves the Utah Jazz, according to multiple reports. 

Lakers receive Luka, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris. Mavs receive Anthony Davis, Mark Christie and Lakers ‘29 First round pick. Utah is the third team here with some other pieces to make the salaries fit.

I am absolutely stunned after making the Finals the Mavs have moved on from their 25 year old super star. Their owner is a big ‘defense wins championships’ guy and often complains about Luka’s defense and conditioning. Not sure trading for AD solves that with his availability issues and injury history. 
 

Mavs are currently 9th in the West with the Lakers sitting at 5th. Will be really interesting to see how this massive trade impacts each team not only this season but for years to come.
