This Week in Twitter is our weekly look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from current and former Ohio State players and other Ohio State accounts.
It was a busy week in just about every corner of Ohio State athletics, and we have a comprehensive round-up of all the highlights you may have missed going back to the start of the week.
For example, on Monday came the significant news that Dr. Aaron Craft would be joining an already-loaded Carmen's Crew roster for the upcoming installment of The Basketball Tournament.

Craft's stunning announcement preceded an even more stunning performance by Buckeye diver Hunter Armstrong the next day. Armstrong turned on the jets for the last 25 M of his Olympic Trials performance to finish second overall.

Of course, some of the most major Twitter news of the week for Ohio State sports was the highly anticipated arrival of top recruit J.T. Tuimoloau to Columbus.

JTT is a five-star defensive lineman in the mold of past elite Buckeye pass rushers such as Chase Young and the Bosa brothers. Our Dan Hope was at the airport alongside a plethora of Ohio State players and staff to greet the potential Buckeye as he touched down in Ohio.

One of the activities scheduled for JTT's visit will be a stop at the Ohio State Jobs Fair happening on campus this weekend. Several Ohio State football players will also attend among the numerous Fisher College of Business students exploring potential career paths for life beyond graduation.

The entire Ohio State roster probably will not end up playing professional football, so it is good to see the university continue to provide its players with other avenues to success. That being said, there remains no shortage of talent on the upcoming Ohio State football team if the latest Walter Football Preseason All-American List is to be believed.

Another major OSU Athletics news story this week came in the form of the Ohio State Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Hopeful future Olympian Adelaide Aquilla won Best Female Athlete honors for her incredible dominance in the shot put this track & field season. Meanwhile, Justin Fields secured his own distinction for leading the Buckeye football team to an appearance in the National Championship.

Fields also turned some heads this week when Madden 22 released its first trailer and promotional screenshots. Among them included this stunning rendering of Fields for the ninth generation consoles, which some have claimed looks even more like Justin Fields than Fields himself.

In real-life Buckeye NFL news, Jonathan Cooper finally put pen to paper on his rookie deal with the Denver Broncos this week after going in the 7th round of the draft.

As for the NBA, while Mike Conley and the Utah Jazz were eliminated by the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night, Jae'Sean Tate received a major distinction this week by earning a spot on the NBA All-Rookie team after previously going undrafted.
Chris Holtmann was quick to congratulate the former Buckeye on earning one of the greatest honors a young basketball player can receive.
Congratulations to JT. Special dude. Easy to bet on @o_tate_ https://t.co/vmu4QjtOHP

Holtmann also wished luck to Zed Key and Meechie Johnson this weekend as they set off for USA Team Training Camp in advance of the Men's U19 World Cup.

And finally, to conclude This Week in Twitter, we would like to congratulate Columbus Dispatch sportswriter Bill Rabinowitz for reaching a full ten years on the Ohio State football beat this past Tuesday.
Ten years ago today, I was asked to join @TIM_MAYsports on the Ohio State football beat for the Columbus Dispatch. It's been a wild ride. I hope I've provided the quality coverage that our subscribers deserve. A sincere thanks for reading my stories (and books) the last decade.
