This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.
It was a weird week for Twitter with the launch of that new social media app that features an audience of photo-obsessed celebrities and their admirers trying to figure out text-based engagement. By the way, follow Eleven Warriors on Threads!
Meanwhile, the news cycle never took a break, and Ohio State athletes were no exception to that rule. During the white party video at the Fanatics founder's home that made rounds around the Internet earlier this week, fans noted Stroud in attendance at around 0:23 seconds into the production.

Stroud seemed to enjoy himself, although he's clearly already dreading no longer having the elite talent standing next to him that he once did in Ohio Stadium.

That said, Jaxon Smith-Njigba generated some controversy of his own in the digital space this week after an early all-time Ohio State receivers list sparked a widespread conversation — and even a revision — from the man that left his mark on the Rose Bowl forever.
This the one right here.. I was rushed last time please excuse that..maybe David Boston somewhere in there https://t.co/ab3uCeCZOU

While we would hardly call Stroud or JSN clout chasers, it would still appear Paris Johnson Jr. sets the standard for character among Ohio State's latest NFL draft class...

... with more standout talent on the way.

His preseason grade on Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr. is a perfect score.
"No weaknesses. Might be the best player in the class," he said.
While Route Man Marv continues to dominate the skies, look for Steele Chambers to handle ground control duties with the help of Columbus' favorite pizza ship awareness advocate.

Also this week, the Delaware County Board of Commissioners implemented the change in Genoa Township Road's name to "Dimitrious Stanley Way," in honor of the former Ohio State wide receiver that passed away in February after a four-year battle with prostate cancer.
An amazing tribute to a most deserving man. Miss Dakota, the long & winding road, that leads to your door, will never disappear.#HisWay #Dimitrious pic.twitter.com/Hw8KA7TruM

In happier cancer news surrounding Ohio State football, the story of offensive lineman Avery Henry got some media attention this week as Henry prepares to celebrate his second month cancer-free following the start of chemo treatments in January.
"No matter what it is we are going to keep fighting"
— Adam King (@AdamKing10TV) July 8, 2023
Ohio State's motto is Fight, for OL Avery Henry it took on a different meaning in December when he was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer.

Meanwhile in the NBA, Mike Conley continues to age like fine wine.

Conley somehow got caught off-guard winning the award a fourth time, and the NBA made sure to highlight the comments he made at the NBA Convention in Las Vegas during the first week of Summer League.

Conley wasn't the only Ohio State guard to turn heads in Sin City this week, as the Buckeye faithful finally got to welcome E.J. Liddell back to the basketball court!

And while most of the NBA audience will have their eyes glued to Victor Wembanyama when it comes to the San Antonio Spurs going forward, Ohio State can look on at Malaki Branham's own career development with glee.

Finally, we conclude This Week in Twitter with a nod to the hard work performed by student journalists aspiring to become guardians of truth.
OSU's excellent student newspaper, the Lantern, successfully sues the tight-lipped university for docs surrounding ex president's sudden resignation. OSU screws over its own student paper by sending docs to all media outlets. These people.https://t.co/hRlzHhycSO
