After not having a single verbal commitment in the 2018 class for about a month, Chris Holtmann has landed two in as many days.
The Ohio State basketball program received a commitment from three-star point guard Duane Washington on Wednesday, just one day after four-star forward Jaedon LeDee committed to the Buckeyes.

Washington took his official visit to Ohio State last week, less than a month after he received an offer from the Buckeyes. Now playing his high school basketball in California, Washington spent most of his early life in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Ohio State is now beginning to gain traction in the 2018 class after a long stretch of the cupboard being bare. Torrence Watson decommitted just more than a month after giving Holtmann his verbal, and Ohio State has lost out on in-state recruits Dane Goodwin (Notre Dame), Darius Bazley (Syracuse) and Dwayne Cohill (Dayton) since making its coaching change in early June.
Despite the commitment of Washington, Ohio State still appears to be in good standing with four-star point guard Elijah Weaver, who remains one of the Buckeyes' top targets.
