Looks like the cryptic photo D'Angelo Russell posted to Instagram last night had meaning, after all.
Russell did not begin Ohio State's summer term with his classmates a week ago because his high school transcript had not passed the NCAA Clearinghouse. At the time, Bob Baptist of the Columbus Dispatch reported the NCAA was waiting on Russell's score from a standardized test he took earlier in the month.
Today, Russell is in school, per a tweet from Ohio State basketball.
Great to have our newest Buckeyes all enrolled and on campus now! @D_Russ0 @KBD_33 @db_trey5 @o_tate_ @TrevBallinTrey2 @alee31_osu #GoBucks

Russell, a five-star shooting guard from Louisville who played his high school basketball for Florida's Montverde Academy, is the crown jewel of Thad Matta's 2014 class. The 6-foot-5 playmaker should challenge for immediate playing time with the Buckeyes.
