WASHINGTON — Thursday marked the unofficial beginning of the college basketball season. It was Big Ten Media Day and, for the first time, things were held in our nation's capital.
Ohio State coach Thad Matta was in attendance along with the league's 13 other coaches. Those coaches kicked things off in the morning with press conferences and then breakout interviews with those coaches and select players from around the conference followed.
In addition to Matta, the Buckeyes were represented by junior forwards Jae'Sean Tate and Keita Bates-Diop.
Eleven Warriors caught up with all three during the breakout interview sessions. You can check out portions of what each had to say in the videos posted above.
Ohio State opens its 2016-17 season Nov. 11 at Navy.
