Chris Holtmann landed his first Ohio recruit in Justin Ahrens on Sunday, and is continuing to make the rounds across the state.
After throwing out the first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds game last Thursday, Ohio State's basketball coach is now set to make the trip back up I-71 to do the same in Cleveland on Friday, according to Hayden Grove of Cleveland.com.

Holtmann has spent some time in northeast Ohio this week, dropping in on Garfield Heights High School, which is home to Alonzo Gaffney, the top-rated Ohio recruit in the 2019 class.

The Buckeyes missed out on the second-ranked 2019 player in the state in August, when Pickerington North's Jeremiah Francis committed to North Carolina.
