Keita Bates-Diop worked out for the Utah Jazz on Wednesday afternoon, and afterwards he met with members of the media that were in attendance.
The former Buckeye was answering questions when he reportedly cut his answer to a question short, complaining of back pain. He then went to the ground, according to a report from Andy Larsen of KSL.com
Keita Bates-Diop just went down during the media interview. Cut off his answer, complaining of back pain, had to lay on the floor. Honestly was a scary moment.

Larsen reported that Walt Perrin, Vice President of Player Personnel for the Jazz, said Bates-Diop dealt with leg cramping and back spasms towards the end of his workout.
Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch later reported that Bates-Diop is "perfectly fine" following the incident.
I have good news: I've been told that Keita Bates-Diop is perfectly fine after today's workout in Utah. Just a little back tightness, and he's already back to normal. Good to hear about the #Buckeyes grad.

Bates-Diop is coming off of a season with Ohio State in which he led the Buckeyes to a second place finish in the Big Ten regular season and won the conference player of the year award. He is projected as a late first, to early second-round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
