The Buckeyes' season came to an abrupt end.
Ohio State began its Thursday preparing for a Big Ten Tournament matchup with Purdue. Within a few hours, their season was over without playing a game when the Big Ten canceled the conference tournament and the NCAA canceling the national tournament shortly after.
For every player, it was an unceremonious end to the season. For a few, it was an unceremonious end to their basketball careers. As the players processed the sudden change, many took to social media to share their thoughts. Here are some reactions from the team.
You know we start the first week of June preparing for the month of March. This sucks. Its terrible whats going on in the world but it really shows you to not take anything for granted and live and love in the moment cause that stuff can be taken away in the blink of an eye.

The 2019-20 NCAA basketball season ends without a tournament and without a champion. Ohio State's 2020-21 season is set to begin next fall, but it'll happen without seniors Andre Wesson and Danny Hummer, who have suddenly played the last games of their careers.
