Keita Bates-Diop could not miss.
The former Buckeye and Big Ten Player of the Year had a career performance on Thursday night, dropping a career-high 30 points on an 11-for-11 shooting performance. He was a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the three-point arc.
Bates-Diop is the first player in Spurs history to score 30 or more points while shooting 100 percent from the field. Only four players across the entire NBA have done that since the year 2000.

On top of the shooting performance, Bates-Diop also pulled down seven rebounds and had one steal.
This was by far Bates-Diop's best offensive performance of his career. His previous career scoring high was 22 points in a two-point loss to the Suns back in November of 2019. In the loss, he went 9-for-18 from the field and 3-for-10 from three-point range.
