The significance of scoring 1,000 points in scarlet and gray is not lost on E.J. Liddell.
The third-year Buckeye star said "it means a lot, honestly," and now just 12 points shy of the milestone, Liddell said he's been thinking about the benchmark quite a bit.
While Liddell wishes he could have hit that mark in Columbus this past Saturday, another COVID-19 game cancellation means he'll have to do it on the road against Minnesota on Thursday night. With a win in that matchup, Chris Holtmann would also capture his 100th win as head coach at Ohio State.
