Jake Diebler is an interim coach no more.
On Saturday, a source told Eleven Warriors that Ohio State planned to promote Jake Diebler to full-time head coach. Less than 24 hours later, Ohio State president Ted Carter, athletic director Gene Smith and special advisor Ross Bjork made the promotion official.
The news received mixed reviews from Buckeye Nation. However, reactions from Ohio State men’s basketball alumni – including Jon Diebler, Mark Titus, Joey Lane, Terence Dials – and other prominent Buckeyes have been positive.
