The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.

HAINSEY HAS VISIT DATE SCHEDULED

One of the players who made our 2017 Heat Check board, IMG offensive lineman Robert Hainsey, has scheduled his next visit to Ohio State.

This Midwest swing is a big one for the country's third-ranked guard, who hails from Pittsburgh originally. The six schools he'll visit are almost certainly the group where his final choice will come from, so for the Buckeyes, who offered last September, it's a chance to separate themselves from the pack with the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder.

Hainsey was invited to The Opening following a big showing at Nike's regional camp in Orlando two weeks ago.

GOODWIN GETS GOOD WIN

Upper Arlington guard Dane Goodwin committed to Ohio State prior to the start of his high school basketball career, so his name may be familiar to you, but his game–and his with it his team's success–is really taking off lately.

The country's 103rd-ranked 2018 prospect, at 6-foot-4 and a solid 170-pounds, is two games away from the state Final Four and will take on a talented Gahanna Lincoln team on Thursday night at Ohio Dominican. On Saturday, Goodwin led the Golden Bears with 22 points against Dublin Jerome High School.

BuckeyeGrove.com analyst Marc Givler was in attendance and posted some free highlight video of Goodwin's performance.

Check it out.

BRIDGES NARROWS HIS LIST, READJUSTS FOCUS AFTER DOBBINS' COMMIT

When J.K. Dobbins committed to Ohio State Sunday afternoon, the noise you heard might have been the door closing on an opportunity for Copley, Ohio's Weston Bridges, who had hoped to become the second running back in the Buckeyes' 2017 class. Bridges says he thinks he'll have to readjust his focus, and to that end, Monday he released a list of his Top Five schools –– Ohio State was not on the list.

"If (Ohio State) offered, they would easily be (on the list)," Bridges told 11W. "But I don't think they are going to anymore because of their recent commit. I hoped they'd offer, it was something I always dreamed of, but if they don't, I know God has a plan for me."

Bridges, who spent the weekend at Indiana, told Eleven Warriors that the Hoosiers, along with Rutgers, Syracuse, Marshall and Purdue are in his current top group. He is the nation's 49th-ranked tailback and a three-star prospect.

RIVALS.COM NOTES FROM PYLON 7-ON-7 ON LINDSEY

Over the weekend, one of the country's bigger 7-on-7 tournaments took place in Las Vegas and the winners, 702 Elite, have a large Bishop Gorman presence.

Among 702 Elite's top performers was Tyjon Lindsey, who earned the title of Most Outstanding Player at wide receiver.

The five-star wide receiver says told Rivals.com that he'd like to make a decision before signing day and that a narrowed down list, as we've mentioned here in the past, is coming.

From Rivals:

Lindsey, who played last season at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, said he’s trying to make a decision before National Signing Day and doesn’t want to toy with any coaches.

Lindsey said Auburn, Washington, USC, Texas A&M and Ohio State will definitely make the cut when he posts his top list.

Right now, from where I'm sitting, this is a two-team race between USC and Ohio State. Lindsey will make his first visit with the Buckeyes later this month.

HIT 'EM WITH THE SHRUG, ANTJUAN

Last night's Hurry Up talked about Antjuan Simmons, an Ohio State commitment from Ann Arbor's Pioneer High School. In the story, Simmons briefly talked about a recent Michigan visit that, in some way, helped him feel more certain that the Buckeyes were the right choice for him.

I already know everything there is to know about that school, all they really had to do was develop relationships. They're all great guys, and I don't take anything from them and I wouldn't tell another kid not to go there it's a great program, but didn't feel like the place for me."

Monday, a Michigan fan tried his best to start mending the holes in that relationship fence.

Simmons reply, combined with a second tweet, was pretty telling.

That didn't stop this fan from trying to pick up the pieces that were missed by the Wolverines' coaching staff.

What a time to be alive.
