Shaun King, a former NFL journeyman QB turned George Whitfield truther, dropped some #takes this morning on Ohio State's championship-winning QB, the illustrious Cardale Jones.
With the NFL Draft kicking off this week, there's a real possibility Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota are going to go No. 1 and No. 2. Obviously, there are more than two teams in need of a quarterback.
Lets say 1/2 picks r the top qbs. U mean chicago, st louis, cleve, houston, san diego, philly, jets all pass on cardale jones....

King isn't wrong. We are, after all, talking about a league that saw 28-year-old Brandon Weeden get selected No. 22 overall. Somebody would have "rolled the dice" on Jones because of his arm alone. The interview process would've done nothing but elevate his stock.
Jones, for his part, has said he feels no regret about returning to Ohio State. (He would be the first member of his family to graduate college.)
Besides, you know what's better than playing three games, winning a title, and becoming a late first-round NFL draft pick? Winning two collegiate championships and becoming the No. 1 overall pick.
