Darryl Baldwin came to Ohio State as a defensive end prospect, and he left as the eldest member of the most dominant unit in the country, the Slobs.

Baldwin was given a 4.6 Draft rating by NFL.com, who lauded Baldwin's "natural arm length" that "he knows how to use." There are concerns about Baldwin's stiffness in his knees and lateral movements, but Baldwin proved more than serviceable in his first year of prominent action along Ohio State's offensive line.
