There will surely be a quarterback battle in Columbus come August between JT Barrett and Cardale Jones, but it may not be as entertaining as this morning's Twitter exchange between the two Ohio State stars.
On Friday night, following the Cavs' heartbreaking loss to the Bulls, Jones tried to rally Cavs' fans.
Don't get it twisted, this series is FARRRRRR from over #Cleveland #AllForOne #OneForAll #216

To which Barrett replied quickly.
Child please you better gone https://t.co/KPf56VV59A

Of course, Cardale, a Twitter master, is never slow on the draw when it comes to firing a return shot.
@JT_theQB4th yo haten ass just mad because the Spurs just like you, at home watching

That one appeared to sting Barrett, a Texas native.
Aww don't do us like that https://t.co/ZOgHJLLWlk

Sunday morning the "battle" continued with Barrett going back on the attack.
@CJ12_ 12 don't want to answer my phone calls b/c I asked him how many nba titles the cavs won compared to the Spurs and he hung up on me

After Ohio State fans rallied behind Jones and the Cavs, Barrett lobbed a grenade in everyone's general direction.
Oh a lot of ya'll didn't like that, and to keep it g real with ya'll 12 @CJ12_ doesn't even like the Cavs for real. He a Knicks Melo fan

But they bad so he had to claim another team

Seems like someone has been taking Professor Dolodale's Advanced Social Media Trolling class.
