Football is a brutal game, and injuries are inevitable. Yet, it was still depressing to read about Jacksonville Jaguars' DE Dante Fowler, the No. 3 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, tearing his ACL in his first professional practice.
And it was even more depressing still to watch former Ohio State TE Jeff Heuerman, a third-round pick who should be preparing to catch touchdowns from Peyton Manning, suffer the same fate a day later.
The two apparently formed a bond during what looks to be a visit to the same specialist:

Somehow, I doubt this is the last we'll ever hear of Dante Fowler and Jeff Heuerman.
