David Cobb, a three-star prospect out of Texas, wore No. 27 during his venerable Minnesota career in honor of the great Eddie George (a man we also know and love around here).
The Tennessee Titans picked Cobb with the No. 138 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, giving the former Gopher a chance to fill the legend's cavernous shoes down in Nashville.
Cobb was enjoying some pie recently, when he was interrupted by a stranger. That stranger, however, turned out to be the 1995 Heisman Trophy winner.
It's been over a decade since Eddie George hung up his cleats, and even now he's still making grown men incredulous. Such is the natural power of the mystical Eddie George.
