The Ohio State University Marching Band prides itself on its forward thinking, innovation, and precision. It's why no other marching band commands national attention, even from non-sports outlets, like The Best Damn Band in the Land.
Today, those qualities that make its halftime shows fodder for national media attention will extend to one of its staples: Script Ohio. The marching band and its alumni will march a "Giant Script Ohio" in today's opener against Bowling Green. Dr. Christopher Hoch, the band's director, announced the plans on Twitter a few days ago.
Looking forward to sharing the field with the @TBDBITLAlumni this weekend for our reunion! pic.twitter.com/LV9VjASD7z

Members of the press that arrived at Ohio Stadium today also got a printout of the formation that they will see from their vantage point. The printout advertised this as the largest "Script Ohio" ever marched.
