A discussion on the looming, contentious matchup today between Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr during a segment on ESPN Sunday Countdown led to a brief trip down memory lane to nearly 20 years ago.
Charles Woodson revealed that he and David Boston knew each other prior to the game that featured their famed fisticuffs, a fight which has been replayed prior to every single Ohio State-Michigan game since:
I knew David Boston - he was on a recruiting visit to Michigan and I remember him saying, "man, I'm just up here to take my visit - I'm going to Ohio State. Everybody was mad, we wanted to dominate this kid - I wanted him to know this is where you should have came (sic) to but you chose otherwise."
Boston finished the game with three catches for 68 yards and a TD. Michigan won the game 20-14 as Woodson sealed the Heisman Trophy with a punt return TD and an interception in the endzone while defending Dee Miller.
