Moving the ball efficiently has a been an issue at times for Ohio State this season. But if the last two weeks are any indication, the Buckeyes are getting things straightened out in time for a possible Top 5 matchup against Michigan to end the regular season.
The key, it seems, is getting the ball in the hands of do-it-all junior Curtis Samuel.
In the first half of Saturday's 62-3 shellacking of Maryland, Samuel had 112 yards and three touchdowns on nine touches. Quarterback J.T. Barrett efficiently moved the ball down the field, as well, finishing 18-for-27 passing for 253 yards and two scores. He also added 43 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Following the game, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and a handful of players spoke with the assembled media. You can check out Meyer's full presser above, in addition to interviews with Barrett, Samuel, offensive guard Billy Price, defensive end Sam Hubbard, defensive tackle Tyquan Lewis, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, linebacker Jerome Baker, offensive coordinator Ed Warinner and defensive coordinator Luke Fickell.
Ohio State travels to East Lansing next Saturday to face Michigan State. Kickoff is scheduled for noon on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
