Despite neither team playing in Indianapolis for the 2016 Big Ten title, Michigan and Ohio State dominated the Associated Press All-Big Ten First Team, released by the service wire Monday morning.
Ohio State led the way with eight first-team nominations: QB J.T. Barrett, OG Billy Price, C Pat Elflein, WR Curtis Samuel, DE Tyquan Lewis, MLB Raekwon McMillan, S Malik Hooker and P Cameron Johnston.
Michigan finished second with five nominations.
Four Buckeyes earned second-team honors: RB Mike Weber, all-purpose Curtis Samuel, LT Jamarco Jones, and CB Marshon Lattimore.
The AP also named Weber the Big Ten "Newcomer of the Year."
