Noah Brown turned in the catch of the year as far as college football is concerned last season when he hauled in a 21-yard touchdown reception by pinning the ball to the back of an Oklahoma defender.

Now, the catch is being recognized for “Best Play” at the ESPY's, ESPN's annual award show.

The touchdown gave Ohio State a 35–17 lead over the Sooners with six seconds remaining in the first half – a game the Buckeyes would go on to win 45–24. Videos and GIFs of the haul played out on social media for several days afterward.

Fans can vote on the play, seeded 16th in the ESPY bracket for play of the year. Which brings up some bad news: Brown's first round obstacle is Julian Edelman's Super Bowl catch, the No. 1 seed in the contest.

Edelman's catch was nice, no doubt about that, but this certainly doesn't feel like your typical 1-vs.-16 matchup. We'll ride with Brown all day on this one.
