The Indianapolis Colts received bad news Tuesday when it placed safety Malik Hooker, its first-round draft pick, on the physically unable to perform list due to a tweaked hamstring.
Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the news.
The silver lining for Hooker and the Colts is he can be taken off the PUP list anytime during the preseason.
The Colts' preseason starts Sun., Aug. 13, against the Detroit Lions.
